Liverpool hoping to raise $97m by selling 5 stars after rejecting initial bids

Liverpool's transfer window has been relatively quiet so far , with only Calvin Ramsay and Fabian Mrozek leaving on loan and no new arrivals.
However, this isn't due to a lack of effort. Despite the frustrations of Reds fans, who would have liked to see more activity in terms of new signings, Liverpool has been involved in several transfer bids. Arne Slot's inherited squad is drawing attention from many quarters. While Liverpool hasn't yet approved any major exits, it has turned down numerous offers.
Last month, the Reds declined a £4 million offer from Trabzonspor for Nat Phillips. In the last two weeks, it has come to light that bids for Wataru Endo, Sepp van den Berg, Bobby Clark, and Fabio Carvalho have also been rejected.
Regarding Phillips, it's believed Liverpool value the center-back at $10 million. A £11.8 million bid from Marseille has been turned down for Endo, who is also being tracked by several other unnamed clubs.
Liverpool's interest in Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has raised questions about the future of Endo, despite no active plans to sell him. If a tempting offer comes in, it wouldn't be shocking to see Endo moved on.
There's no set asking price, but given Liverpool's transfer strategy, it could likely recoup most of their initial investment in the Japanese player. We expect the Reds to command up to $22 million for the Japan international.
Van den Berg's future at Liverpool is still up in the air, despite a strong pre-season performance. Several clubs are interested in signing him, including PSV Eindhoven, who had a £10 million offer turned down. Wolfsburg and Southampton are also interested. Liverpool has set a $25 million asking price for the 22-year-old.
Clark, who hasn't had a chance to impress Slot due to injury, has had a £6 million bid from Red Bull Salzburg rejected. Norwich City, Leeds United, Sheffield United, and Coventry City - as well as Celtic and Rangers - are all interested in him. Liverpool would expect at least double Salzburg's bid, around $15 million, before considering a sale.
Carvalho has had a standout pre-season with Liverpool, but he faces stiff competition for a spot in his position if he stays at Anfield . Liverpool has turned down two offers from Southampton for Carvalho, the most recent being a verbal £15 million bid. They would expect a significantly higher offer to consider selling the 21-year-old, perhaps around $25 million.
Liverpool.com says: If those five transfer valuations are met, Liverpool could pocket around $97 million. That would be some very smart business.
