Livingston 12U All-Star Baseball Team Wins NJ Section 2 Championship

HOBOKEN, NJ -- The Livingston Little League 12U all-star baseball team defeated Hoboken, 3-2, on Thursday to win the New Jersey Section 2 championship at Sgt. William Feskin Memorial Field in Hoboken.

Blake Simon pitched a complete game for the victory and also hit a home run. Cameron Roig of Livingston also hit a home run. Alan Gholston had an RBI groundout in the win.

Second baseman Michael DeCorso, shortstop Bryce Cullen and center fielder Ryan Rosenberg all made stellar plays in the field for Livingston.

This is the second time that this group of players has made the final four in the state. They previously made the state championships in 2022 as 10-year-olds.

Livingston now advances to the New Jersey State Finals in Freehold on Wednesday, July 24 against Morristown.

The final four teams remaining in the state are Livingston, Morristown, Lincroft and Blackwood, with the winner advancing to the regional championship in Bristol, Conn.
