    About 15 years ago, Lodi Fire Chief Ken Johnson was working from home when his wife began experiencing a medical emergency in which she was losing consciousness.

    A Stockton firefighter at the time, Johnson began assessing his wife as her blood pressure dropped so low she could have lost her life.
