Softball: Pumas pound Wautoma, River Valley

Grace Gavinski drove in two runs and Karli Rivette had three RBIs, as Poynette roughed up Wautoma 11-1, winning in five innings.

Gavinski and Addison Mackey both went 1-2, with Rivette going 1-for-3.

Kassidy McCaffery tossed five innings, striking out 10 and walking none while scattering two hits.

Over in four innings, the Pumas blasted River Valley in a non-conference game on Thursday, April 11, as Morgan Gunderson was the winning pitcher. Gunderson struck out five batters.
