Ross County Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrests Following Bainbridge Traffic Stop
Bainbridge, OH – On July 20, 2024, deputies from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop that led to multiple arrests in Bainbridge, Ohio. The incident began when a Ross County Deputy observed a motorcycle traveling without taillights on Quarry Street near Second Street. As the motorcycle turned onto Second Street, it failed to stop at the intersection and exhibited erratic behavior.
Ross County – Man Charged Following Wrong-Way Crash on US-35 in Ross County
ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A 36-year-old man from Seattle, Washington, has been charged in connection with a wrong-way crash that occurred earlier this week in Ross County. The incident, which unfolded on July 23, 2024, prompted a response from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) to US-35 in Concord Township. According to OSP reports, a 2011 Toyota Scion XD was traveling eastbound on US-35 when it veered off the left side of the roadway into the median. The vehicle then crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2019 Ford Escape traveling westbound on the same highway.

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Deputies in Ross County are investigating the alleged theft of over $2,000 by a Family Dollar employee. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the Londonderry Family Dollar after receiving a report of the alleged theft. Deputies reportedly spoke to the manager, who claimed that over the course of 2 1/2 months, an employee had allegedly been stealing cash from the store. The manager stated that the employee would reportedly cancel transactions and pocket the money.
