The Long Beach Police Department and fire department received several calls around 11:15 p.m. regarding a shooting reportedly at Prendido De Noche Nightclub in the 2600 block of East South Street.

Officers and Long Beach firefighters responded to the area of South Street and Paramount Boulevard and located multiple gunshot victims upon arrival at the location.

Gallagher said that at this time, they are aware of approximately seven victims who all sustained gunshot wounds. The victims either transported themselves to a hospital or were transported by the LBFD to local area hospitals.
