REVIEW: The Truth at The Black Box Theatre

Nowhere is this more true than in French playwright Florian Zeller’s, The Truth, expertly translated into English by Christopher Hampton. The Black Box Theatre proudly brings the United States premier of this script to the Quad Cities. With dogged determination, BBT co-founder Lora Adams pursued, over a period of years, permission to produce this show. Her tenacity paid off.
Police: Davenport woman used filet knife to rob man
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport woman was arrested Sunday after police say she robbed a man at knifepoint. Lashina Bea, 41, faces charges of first-degree robbery, a Class B felony; going armed with intent, a Class D felony; assault while participating in a felony, a Class D felony; and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor.
