Man dead after lawnmower pins him to ground
JESUP, Iowa (KCRG) - A man died Thursday afternoon after a lawnmower rolled off of a trailer and pinned him to the ground. The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office says they got a report of an accident involving equipment, with a man pinned under a lawnmower. Ceiling collapsed in this Waterloo man's apartment after Tuesday’s heavy rainfall
International student Chintan Bhardwaj is still picking up the pieces after Tuesday’s rain collapsed the roof of his apartment at 30 Hickory Street E. in Waterloo. Bhardwaj is registered at the Law Society of Ontario and meant to write his barrister exam next month but says studying has been put on hold. CBC KW’s Karis Mapp visited the apartment. The building's management has been in touch with Bhardwaj to offer him another place to live while the roof and ceiling are fixed.
