Dubuque Man Charged With Stealing Thousands From Elderly Mother-In-Laws Account
A Dubuque man was arrested and charged with stealing nearly $43-thousand dollars from his elderly mother-in-law living in a nursing home. According to Dubuque Police 54-year old Shawn Small was charged on Friday with financial exploitation of an older individual. The investigation started after the administrator of the care facility reported a large amount of money disappeared from the woman’s bank account.

Two more tornadoes have been confirmed by the National Weather Service (NWS) in La Crosse, Wisconsin from storms the night of August 5th in northeast Iowa. The NWS initially confirmed an EF1 tornado north of Waukon near Hanover, with peak wind speeds estimated at 105 mph.
