Trinity Lutheran sets schedule for summer events

Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake has announced the lineup for a community-wide series of free events, set to take place on Wednesday nights from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. between June 12 and August 14.

Trinity Lutheran is dedicated to organizing family-friendly meals and activities designed to bring people together. Join us for great food, games, music, and a positive atmosphere, all aimed at fostering connections and encouraging meaningful conversations. All are invited to share in community and fun.

The schedule is as follows:

• June 12: The series kicks off with Nicholas David from “The Voice” in concert. Enjoy fried chicken, potato salad and other sides, followed by a local snow cone truck’s treats for dessert. Kids can also crawl around on the playground and join in some games.

• June 19: Don’t miss a local talent show put on by your neighbors and a meal of walking tacos!

• June 26: This week’s theme is Trivia and Wings. Trivia Mafia will host the event with multiple teams and food will be provided by Wingmann Matt.

• July 3: Our popular Bingo Bonanza is back — bring your lucky charms to win prizes. We’ll have a sub sandwich bar for dinner.

• July 10: Wild Water Night will include water features, a water balloon war, and pizza.

• July 17: Look forward to a folk music concert with meatball bowls from our partner Salem Lutheran in North Minneapolis.

• July 24: Get ready to fire up your taste buds with a BBQ Cook-Off and a meal.

• July 31: Showcase your prized wheels and join the excitement as car enthusiasts gather for a day of sleek rides and thrilling competition at the Third Annual Trinity Car Show. • Aug. 7: Join us for the chance to win prizes at Bingo Bonanza II.
