County W project update

The pulverizing work on the County Highway W project is expected to reach the causeway between Long Lake and Wilson Lake on Wednesday, June 12, according to an announcement from the Price County Highway Department. The exact time and date will be updated as soon as possible, but is dependent on weather and construction progress.

During the 8-to-10 hours that are needed for the construction on the narrow section of County Highway W, between Birch Hill Road and East Wilson Flowage Road, County Highway W will be closed to through traffic and detoured. The detour route will be County Highway S, to County Highway F, to State Highway 13.

The County Highway W project started on May 23, Following the pulverization work the paving portion of the project is expected to be completed in two to three weeks.
