LONG POND, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Watch our Road to Victory Lane special from NASCAR weekend at Pocono Raceway.

Get a full recap of the Xfinity and Truck series race and hear from the winners of both.

It was Martin Truex Jr.’s last time racing to the Tricky Triangle. We spoke to him ahead of The Great American Getaway 400, Truex Jr. says The Tricky Triangle is one of his favorite tracks with winning twice in 2015 and 2018. He has come in the top 10 in the last two seasons.

28/22 News got a behind-the-scenes look at the no. 54 Monster Energy of Joe Gibbs Racing hauler and spoke to the crew chief on all the essentials the team keeps on them for a race weekend.

28/22 News also got an inside look into how the cars and trucks get examined properly before hitting the track. NASCAR officials broke it all down from the multi-step process, advancements, and all involved in ensuring vehicle safety out on the track.
