Rainiers fans were treated to a real rarity on Sunday afternoon at Cheney Stadium, as Emerson Hancock pitched a complete game shutout. Hancock went the distance on 105 pitches (74 strikes). SEATTLE — An iconic landmark in north Seattle is gone after it was repeatedly tagged with graffiti. The well-known mural depicted some of the history of Highway 99 in north Seattle, including businesses and landmarks that have come and gone along the north-south thoroughfare. Photos reveal big red letters at the top of the mural that said, "Welcome to Historic Highway 99" and included cars and landmarks from 1932 to 1960.
