The department started at roughly the same time as the Coors Brewery and the School of Mines both here in Golden. Red Fox Recovering in Colorado After Being Shot By An Arrow
A resilient Red Fox is on the road to recovery after surviving a heartbreaking incident last week. On June 19, Arvada Animal Management responded to a call about a juvenile Red Fox that had been shot with an arrow off of Quay Court in Arvada. Officers acted quickly and were able to safely contain the injured animal. The female fox was then transported to Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance Wildlife Hospital in Sedalia for emergency medical care.
