Downed tree causes road closure; power, cable, and internet outage in Summers County

SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A downed tree has resulted in multiple inconveniences for residents of Summers County.

According to Summers County 911, a downed tree is blocking one lane of State Route 3 along Greenbrier Drive between Wiggins and Willowwood.

Officials say this is also the reason for a large power, cable, and internet outage in the area.

One lane is open and fire departments are flowing traffic.

Motorists are urged to use caution in this area.
