This year, the Fayette County Public Libraries are highlighting the extensive services they offer beyond just books.

Whether you want to enhance your skills, gather valuable information, or connect with fellow readers, a library card is your gateway to endless possibilities.

For those researching genealogy or West Virginia history, the library’s WV Room provides a treasure trove of books and materials for in-library use.

The Adult Book Group meets on the last Monday of the month at 6:00 PM to discuss the monthly book selection.

For young readers, Preschool Storytime takes place every Wednesday at 11:00 AM, featuring activities, stories, crafts, and snacks. Saturdays are Family Fun Days from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, offering board games, puzzles, Legos, K’Nex, crafts, and scavenger hunts.

If you can’t make it on Saturdays, these family activities are available throughout the week.

The library is open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Mondays, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Friday, and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays. The library is located at 200 W Maple Ave, Fayetteville, WV 25840.
