Update: Mecosta County Sheriff's Office Locates Missing Girl, Arrests 36-Year-Old Man

Update: Ella McGuire has been located and is safe, according to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office:

"At 10:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Ella McGuire, missing since the morning hours of July 31st, was located safe, in Spanaway, Washington. A 36-year-old male, from Spanaway, who is suspected of transporting her there from her residence in Paris, is in police custody."

13-year-old Ella McGuire was seen in Lake County near U.S. 10 and 48th last Wednesday night, according to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office.

Yesterday they released a new photo of Ella (pictured above) and added an email address, tips@mecostasheriff.org, that anyone with relevant information can use to contact them.

Ella is 5'5" tall and weighs about 160 pounds. She has blue eyes and light reddish-pink hair. She was last known to be wearing a black long sleeve shirt with a turquoise green American flag on the front, black ripped jeans with holes in the knees, and black Converse shoes with white on them, according to an earlier press release on the department's official Facebook page. She may have a black bag with white stripes and pink buckles.
