Former 4-star USC commit announces commitment to SEC program

Only days after decommitting from the USC Trojans , Isaiah Gibson has now found a new home as the premier prospect announced Monday night that he would be staying home and committing to the Georgia Bulldogs .

Gibson, who had previously been committed to USC since March of 2024, officially decommitted from the Trojans back on June 18.

Gibson, who attends in-state Warner Robins High School in Georgia, is considered one of the premier edge rushers in the 2025 class. A highly-rated four-star prospect, Gibson is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the nation’s No. 36 overall player, the No. 2 edge rusher, and the No. 8 player in the state of Georgia.

The commitment of Gibson is No. 15 of the 2025 cycle for Georgia so far, a class that currently sits fourth nationally, as well as second in the SEC behind only Alabama . Gibson is also the third highest-rated of the group, as well as No. 11 from within the state of Georgia.
