Best things to do this weekend in LA and SoCal

If you didn’t live here, you’d think we were just holding events outside all year long. But we all know that’s not true; it takes till mid-June for everything to open up, get to the weeks where it’s warm enough to wear shorts at night, and enjoy Southern California at its most vibrant.

This week has tons of outside events in store, from Jazz at LACMA with soulful singer Sharon Marie Cline to the X Games at the beach in Ventura. A Hollywood Fringe Festival performance takes advantage of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and you can take a birding and story walk with your kids at the Audubon Center in Debs Park.
