The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division patrol units responded to a residence in the 3200 block of East 6th Street for reports of “armed burglary suspects there now” shortly before 2:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers crossed paths with the fleeing suspects in an SUV and a pursuit was initiated.

The suspects led officers at high speeds throughout the city before coming to a stop on Whittier Boulevard and Bradshawe Avenue where the SUV veered off the roadway and onto a curb.

At least two suspects were taken into custody.
