WATCH: Shohei Ohtani hits towering home run vs. Giants

While Saturday night's game didn't get off to the start the Los Angeles Dodgers would've liked, there's seemingly one thing you can always count on: Shohei Ohtani homering.

Ohtani hit his 26th of the year in the third inning:

The dinger was clocked at 109.7 MPH off the bat, carrying a launch angle of 35 degrees and an expected batting average of .920. Given that San Francisco doesn't always play as hitter-friendly, Shohei clearly made sure he put a bit more extra emphasis on that one. Interestingly, though, it would've been a home run in "only" 21 out of 30 ballparks.

Ohtani's latest HR draws him even with Baltimore's Gunnar Henderson for second in the league in big flies. The two still trail Aaron Judge and his 30.

Unfortunately for L.A., though, they'll require a few more of these in order to muster a comeback against the rival Giants; Tyler Glasnow allowed five earned runs in his first three innings of work on Saturday.
