LeBron James’ Post Shows He’s Still In Shock By Bronny James Pick

On Sunday night, NBA free agency began and the Los Angeles Lakers are involved in plenty of rumors. However, LeBron James seems to be in shock still after Bronny James was selected 55th overall by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft.

LeBron James took to social media and posted on X:

"With the 55th in the 2024 NBA draft. The Los Angeles Lakers select……. Bronny James. Just had a moment!"

After one year with the USC Trojans, Bronny was a polarizing name in the draft class. And, after a flurry of rumors, he was drafted by the Lakers in a historic move with the first father-and-son combo in NBA history.

The James duo in purple and gold will be fun to watch next season, although it remains to be seen exactly what Bronny's role will look like.

Bronny James averaged just 4.8 PPG with 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 25 games for the Trojans. Yet, his strong pre-draft workouts and combine performances had NBA scouts excited about his ability.

LeBron James was also speechless after Bronny's photo with his new jersey number popped up on social media, as the Lakers star said "No Words."

Reality is still sinking in for LeBron in regards to his son being on the same team as him. It might take a while to get used to.
