Updated LeBron James Net Worth Revealed After Signing New Contract

The Los Angeles Lakers recently agreed to a two-year, $104 million deal with superstar forward LeBron James. Following the contract extension, LeBron James' net worth has been updated and revealed.

According to Bloomberg Business, James' fortune is now at $1.5 billion.

James is heading into his 21st year in the NBA after averaging 25.7 points and 7.3 rebounds last season at 39 years old. At the end of his extension with the Lakers, arguably the greatest player of all time will be 41 years old.

Before the beginning of the 2024–25 season with the Lakers, James will be participating in the Summer Olympics, traveling to Paris, France in August.

While James signed the most lucrative contract for anyone his age in NBA history, much of his fortune comes from off-court ventures. He signed a lifetime deal with Nike that pays more than $30 million annually . The Ohio native signed the contract in 2019 after originally signing with the sneaker company in 2003.

James also has endorsement deals with AT&T, Beats, GMC and more. After his two-year contract with the Lakers, James will have made over $530 million during his NBA career, becoming the first player in league history to surpass the $500 million mark.

Despite James being set to play into his 40s, he's still posted some of the best numbers in the league. James is preparing for international play, with Team USA's first exhibition game being held on July 10th at 10:30 p.m. ET against Team Canada.
