Bronny James Gets Roasted After Lakers make Big Announcement

After being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, Bronny James hasn't had the easiest start to his NBA career. Even as a prospect, he had an immense amount of pressure on him, and the expectations are simply too high.

Unfortunately, Bronny didn't have the best debut in the NBA's summer leagues, even getting his ankles broken, which led to a great deal of negative responses. Aside from getting his ankles broken, his stat line simply wasn't great. He posted a mere four points in 21 minutes on 2 of 9 shooting on the first day of the California Classic.

The Lakers made matters worse on Sunday when they announced he was out for the second of their back-to-back games due to swelling in his knee. People took to X to roast him, making comparisons to his dad, LeBron James.

While risking injury is valid, it isn't very common to list a player out for precautionary measures, especially when their expected playing time in the regular season is very low. Even so, Bronny doesn't deserve to get hate over something like this.
