Reggie Bush won the 2005 Heisman trophy but voluntarily gave it back in 2012 after an NCAA investigation into illegal benefits he and his family received while playing for the USC Trojans. Bush finally got the award back this offseason.

Bush revealed on a recent episode of the " All The Smoke " podcast that he is working on a documentary aimed at the NCAA for covering up what happened while at USC. He said the NCAA did not reinstate him despite getting his Heisman trophy back.

Bush explained how the documentary would work. It will focus on new information on what he said the NCAA covered up.

"I don't have a six-part series yet, but it will be around there. Four, six, eight, we'll see, but there's so much information that's going to be in this documentary," Bush said. "It's all new information. It's nothing that anybody knew or thought they knew about my story. A lot was covered up in my story by the NCAA. There's so much dirty **** that they did in the media. I'm just releasing little things to damage my character. One of the worst ones was calling me a cheater."

In his Heisman-winning season, Bush had 1,740 rushing yards and 18 total touchdowns. The Trojans lost the national championship 41-38 that season to the Texas Longhorns, who Vince Young led. Young scored a go-ahead touchdown with 19 seconds left in the game.

Other former players recently featured in documentaries include former Notre Dame Fighting Irish linebacker Manti Te'o and former Texas A&M Aggies Heisman winner Johnny Manziel.
