Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James told ESPN's Dave McMenamin during a recent interview that his son (rookie guard Bronny James) "doesn't care" what his critics think.

The four-time MVP added that his eldest child is the " complete opposite " of him and "works his tail off (and) when he's done, he goes home and plays video games."

Bronny put his video game skills on full display recently at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, winning the Call of Duty Modern Warfare III tournament.

The 19-year-old defeated Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams in a "special Modern Warfare III map," according to a report by Arash Markazi of The Sporting Tribune.

Per Markazi, Bronny "won it in the final seconds over Williams and Bobi Klintman of the Detroit Pistons," and his 84 points "obliterated the 59 points (Oklahoma City Thunder center Jaylin) Williams put up last year to win the event."

Bronny has played in three of the Lakers' first four Summer League contests and has averaged 5.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
