Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James.

All those who urged Bronny James to stay in college for a sophomore season are probably going "I told you so" right about now.

To say the son of LeBron James has been struggling in the ongoing NBA Summer League would be an understatement. In four games thus far, Bronny is averaging 4.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting a paltry 7-for-31 from the field (23 percent) and 0-for-15 from three.

Bronny air-balled two three-point attempts during the Lakers' 88-74 loss to the Celtics on Monday night. It's been a recurring theme for the USC alum, who air-balled several shots in the first three games.

As expected, Bronny's performances have caused an uproar on social media, with many fans and analysts wondering if the Lakers erred by drafting the 19-year-old with their second-round draft pick.

Even Celtics star Jaylen Brown was seemingly unimpressed by Bronny. Sitting courtside with Kysre Gondrezick and Angel Reese, Brown was caught on camera saying that Bronny was probably not good enough to make it in pro basketball. While Brown's words weren't audible enough, several fans interpreted his conversation with Gondrezick by banking on their lip-reading skills.

All signs point to Bronny starting his pro career with the Lakers' G-League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, instead of being on an NBA bench next season.

Bronny will have three more opportunities to showcase his skills in the Summer League. The next chance will come Wednesday when the Lakers face No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher and the Hawks.
