Ayesha Curry Shrieking Over Cameron Brink's Big Announcement

Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink has not had the summer she was expecting.

The No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft suffered a torn ACL in mid-June. This not only cost her the rest of her WNBA season with the Sparks (who are scuffling in her absence), but it also meant she couldn't compete for Team USA in the women's 3 on 3 basketball event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Brink has made it known that her lifelong dream is to be an Olympian, so this last loss must have been especially devastating.

But that didn't stop Brink from announcing via Instagram on Monday that she graced the cover of Flaunt Magazine's most recent issue.

This major news caught a lot of attention.

And Steph Curry's wife Ayesha couldn't contain her excitement on the post's comments section.

"Cam!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍," Curry wrote in the post's replies.

Her excited shriek already has nearly 250 likes. Brink and the Curry family are extremely close, given that her and Steph are god brother and sister.

Hopefully the support Brink has received from the Curry's and others will make her injury less painful to deal with.
