Robbery at L.A. bakery captured on video

LOS ANGELES – A pair of criminals were captured on video robbing a customer at a Fairfax neighborhood bakery Friday morning.

According to Los Angeles police, the incident unfolded around 7:30 a.m. at Mensch Bakery on Beverly Boulevard at Detroit Street.

A video shared by Street People Media shows two young men dressed in black confronting an elderly male customer in the bakery’s outside dining area. Police said they demanded property –apparently his watch — and one of them produced a gun.

A man seated with the victim snapped a photograph of the robbers as another man, possibly a bakery employee, intervened and hurled a chair at them as they fled, the video shows.
