Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani made headlines once again on Sunday night. In the fifth inning against the Boston Red Sox, Ohtani crushed a home run that traveled 473 feet at a speed of 116 mph. It cleared the stadium concourse in right-center field and was his 30th of the season.

It was an absolute moonshot of a home run, something only done a handful of times at Dodgers Stadium. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw was doing a live interview at the time and was shocked at the blast by the slugger. When asked if he had seen a ball hit there before, Kershaw couldn't answer straight.

"I don't think so. That was amazing...I'm speechless. I've never seen that before," Kershaw said. "That's not even pulled; that's like right center."

Ohtani just continues to amaze everybody on a daily basis, including his own teammate.

The slugger also spoke about the home run through his interpreter on SportsCenter after the game, saying, "I was trying to look but I couldn't really follow." He also added, "Really looking forward to getting more at-bats and especially just hitting the big ones at Dodger Stadium."

Ohtani is hitting .315 on the year with 30 home runs and is well on his way to being a frontrunner for the National League MVP Award. The Dodgers defeated the Red Sox 9-6, and Kershaw is one of us in total disbelief at the show the Japanese designated hitter puts on every single day.
