The New York Yankees seem to be turning over every rock to find bullpen help.

According to Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe , the Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers are showing interest in 44-year-old left-handed pitcher Rich Hill.

Hill reportedly is back on the mound looking to make a comeback.

Of all the moves the Yankees could make to bolster the bullpen, this certainly would be one of them.

Hill last pitched for the San Diego Padres and Pittsburgh Pirates in 2023. He also spent time with the Yankees a decade ago in 2014. He appeared in 14 games, logging 5.1 innings with a 1.69 ERA.

Hill spent the 2016-2019 seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers where he logged a 3.16 ERA across 361.1 innings and 68 starts.

Considering the fact that Hill is 44 years old is questionable enough, but he's also coming off a career-worst 5.41 ERA in 2023.

Maybe the Yankees have interest in a minor-league deal, but it's difficult to imagine the seasoned southpaw having much value for a team that desperately needs an infusion of talent.
