JJ Redick's Shocking Coach Of The Year Odds Released

First-time head coach JJ Redick accepted the Los Angeles Lakers job in June, and his coach of the year odds for next season have been released and are quite shocking to say the least.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook , Redick is +1200 to win coach of the year, which shockingly is third out of the 30 NBA coaches across the league. The only two coaches with better odds are Jamahl Mosley of the Orlando Magic , and Joe Mazzulla , who is coming off an NBA championship with the Boston Celtics .

Redick has never coached a day in his life at the professional level; however, he had a long 15-year playing career and had one of the higher IQ's when he was on the basketball court.

Now, seeing what he can do on the sidelines coaching a very talented roster led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis will be his next challenge. However, the oddsmakers clearly believe in him.
