USC Trojans Quarterback Miller Moss Named To 2024 Maxwell Award Watch List

USC Trojans quarterback, Miller Moss , has been spotlighted on the 2024 Maxwell Award Watch List, an accolade that celebrates college football’s finest player. This prestigious award, named after Robert “Tiny” Maxwell, a former Swarthmore College standout and notable sportswriter, has honored the top player in college football since 1937.

Moss, returning as a redshirt junior, has only started one game during his three-year stint at USC, but he has already left a lasting impact. He has completed 66 of 92 passes (71.7%) for 914 yards and nine touchdowns, also rushing for 27 yards on ten attempts over twelve games, with the one start.

His impressive performance in the Holiday Bowl earned him the Offensive MVP title, where he set records for the most touchdown passes in a Holiday Bowl (6), a USC bowl game (6), and by a USC QB in his first start (6), tying the Pac-12 Bowl Game passing TD record.

The winner will be unveiled during the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show on December 12, with the formal presentation at the Maxwell Football Club Awards on March 14, 2025, at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia.
