Rachel Bilson brought “PP Pink” to a Los Angeles soirée on Wednesday celebrating the launch of “The O.C.” x 21Seeds campaign. Three new video spots from the tequila brand see Bilson reprise the role of Summer Roberts.

Bilson selected a cutout Valentino minidress featuring a flared skirt and a rosette appliqué. She paired her bright frock with matching patent leather platforms and one of the label’s Locò handbags, which bares Valentino ’s signature logo hardware.

Stylist Nicole Chavez, who also counts Kristen Bell as one of her clients, dressed Bilson for the occasion.

Hairdresser Davy Newkirk styled Bilson’s brunette tresses, while makeup artist Amy Nadine Clement gave the actress pale pink blush and mauve-rose lips.

“The O.C.” x 21Seeds “Serving Summer” campaign also marks the 21st anniversary of Fox’s hit teen drama, which ran from 2003 to 2007.

“When 21Seeds called to ask me to step back into my role as Summer, it was an easy yes,” Bilson said in a statement. “Bringing back Summer has been fun, and I joined the campaign because I was already a fan of 21Seeds.”

The liquor brand also collaborated with Fake Empire, the production company cofounded by “The O.C.” creator Josh Schwartz, for the “Serving Summer” campaign.

“We’re constantly asked about a reunion or where our characters would be now, and this felt like a fun way to hang out with Summer Roberts again,” added Schwartz. “There are easter eggs hidden throughout, as well shoutouts to some memorable moments from the show.”

PP Pink is the electric magenta hue named for Valentino’s former creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. His monochromatic fall 2022 collection has been credited with helping to usher in the Barbiecore trend . Piccioli departed the Italian label in 2024, when he was succeeded by Gucci’s former creative director Alessandro Michele.
