Bronny James Goes Viral for Offseason Video With NBA All-Star

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James has completed his first NBA Summer League. Averaging 7.0 points per game on 32.7 percent from the field and 13.0 percent from three-point range, James struggled with his shot. That said, the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft improved as the summer went on.

In James' final two Summer League games, the Lakers rookie tallied 25 total points on 10/21 from the field. This was a major improvement for James, who missed his first 15 three-point attempts.

Following his first Summer League, James was seen working out with Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland and Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson.

Both Clarkson and Garland are represented by Klutch Sports, the agency that Bronny James and his father, LeBron James, are represented by. Working with the young guard, both Clarkson and Garland were seen playing one-on-one with James.

Garland was drafted fifth overall by the Cavaliers in 2019 and has spent his entire five-year NBA career in Cleveland. Making his first All-Star Game in 2022, Garland signed a five-year super max rookie extension that could reach $231 million ( per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski ).

Clarkson was selected 46th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft, beginning his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he played four seasons before getting traded to the Cavaliers. Spending three seasons in Cleveland, Clarkson was traded to Utah in 2019.

Working with young guard Bronny James, Clarkson and Garland have a lot of NBA experience they can share with the Lakers rookie as he begins his professional career.
