Arango and Opoku’s LAFC Future
Los Angeles Football Club remains active in the transfer market as Cristian Arango and Kwadwo Opoku future remain uncertain. The Colombian wants to sign a new contract extension, but the club hasn’t offered him one yet. If LAFC decides to move Arango, MLS clubs would be interested in a likely league record trade. Meanwhile, clubs around the world would be interested in him by paying a fee.
Los Angeles Kings Goaltender Copley Deserves a New Contract
Los Angeles Kings goaltender Pheonix Copley has played so well since his call-up that he should be rewarded with a new contract. Copley signed a one-year contract with Los Angeles in the off-season for $825,000. He started the year with the King’s AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign. With Kings goaltender Cal Petersen struggling, he was sent to Ontario while Copley was recalled to be Jonathan Quick’s backup. With Quick also beginning to struggle, head coach Todd McLellan went with Copley between the pipes and has not looked back on that decision since then.

Los Angeles Kings Recall Three from Ontario; Kaliyev to IR
The Los Angeles Kings made four transactions yesterday and three of them involved recalling three players from AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign.
