Nearly three years after the Marshall Fire destroyed her home, one woman was able to reclaim something she’d lost. On Friday, longtime Superior resident Gladys Forshee received a new burial flag for her late husband, U.S. Army veteran Larry Forshee. Her original flag was lost in the fire, which destroyed more than 1,000 Superior and Louisville homes on Dec. 30, 2021, and caused more than $2 billion in damage.
