Louisville, KY – According to the police officials, the event ran from 6 to 8 pm and provided an opportunity for the community to engage with the Interim Chief, Executive Command, and officers from the Eighth Division.

Attendees were encouraged to bring their questions and concerns to foster open dialogue and address any issues related to gun violence in the area.

The outreach event saw a good turnout, with many community members stopping by to interact with law enforcement officers and discuss their concerns.

The event aimed to strengthen community relations and promote safety within the neighborhood.

For those who were unable to attend, another “Stop Gun Violence” community outreach event is scheduled for July 16, 2024, at 2710 W. Broadway, from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The organizers hope to see more residents at the next event to continue the important conversations around reducing gun violence and improving community safety.
