Rock legend Sting will make his debut at Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond Festival this year, performing as the new Thursday night headliner, replacing Neil Young.

Sting will take the stage Sept. 19 with his new power rock trio, STING 3. The band features guitarist and longtime collaborator Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, and they’ll perform some of the most electrifying hits from Sting’s vast catalog.

"While we will miss Neil Young at Bourbon this year, we’re excited to welcome a music legend, Sting, to the Bourbon & Beyond lineup. We've been trying to bring Sting to Bourbon for you since 2018 and it’s an incredible honor to have him join us for what will undoubtedly be our biggest and most unforgettable year ever," Danny Wimmer, founder of production and promotions company Danny Wimmer Presents, said in a press release.

This year, Bourbon & Beyond will host over 100 artists across five stages from Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 19-22. Big names joining Sting include Beck, Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox Twenty, Maren Morris, Zach Bryan, The Beach Boys, Melissa Etheridge, My Morning Jacket, The National and more. Along with the music lineup, Bourbon & Beyond will also host culinary programming from some of the nation’s top chefs and a wide array of bourbon tastings and workshops.

Bourbon & Beyond will be held at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Lousiville. You can learn more about the festival and buy tickets at bourbonandbeyond.com .
