Summer break for Jefferson County Public School students is coming to an end as school will start again in a couple of weeks.
To help students get ready for the year, which begins Thursday, Aug. 8. for JCPS students, numerous schools and organizations are holding school supply giveaways for those in need. Students must be present to receive supplies. Quantities are limited and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Supplies are free and vary at each site.
Here are some events, in date order, where you can get free school supplies ahead of the 2024-25 JCPS school season.
