EST Gee receives Louisville football jersey from Quincy Riley ahead of concert

When Louisville-based rapper EST Gee asked to have one of U of L cornerback Quincy Riley’s jerseys, Riley agreed under one condition.

“I’ll let you have one of my jerseys if you let me come meet you,” Riley recalled telling the rapper.

EST Gee agreed to the terms, and the two met prior to the EST Gee + Friends Summer Jam concert Saturday at the KFC Yum! Center. The encounter was featured during part of episode 283 of " Million Dollaz Worth of Game ," a YouTube podcast hosted by rappers-turned-hip hop personalities Gil lie Da Kid and Wallo267 .

Riley also met the duo and had a brief conversation with Gillie, inviting him to a Cardinals game in the fall.

“You be at Colorado, you might as well be out here,” Riley told the former rapper.

Although Gillie didn’t fully commit to the idea, he told Riley that he’d watch him this season. The two continued to converse, with Gillie predicting Riley’s NFL future.

“With the 32 ^nd pick of the first round, the Philadelphia Eagles select,” said Gillie, who is from the City of Brotherly Love.

Riley delivered on his part of the agreement and gave EST Gee a worn, signed jersey. He also invited EST Gee to come to Louisville’s games this season.

“It was amazing,” said Riley, who added that he has a few of EST Gee’s songs in his pregame playlist. “They said that was his first time back in his hometown, so the people were out there. He came out. The crowd went crazy. He did his thing. I salute him for coming back and showing love to the city.”
