WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — Three men from Louisville — one of whom was wanted for murder — were taken into custody after reportedly leading authorities on a pursuit through Southern Kentucky overnight.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office , deputies responded to a late night call on Friday, July 26 about an attempted burglary in the 600 block of McIntyre Street.

The caller reported seeing a masked male crouched beside their neighbor’s home with a rifle, as well as another male walking and a vehicle parked in front of their house. Authorities said there were at least two males on camera, both of whom had firearms.

While some deputies arrived in the area and obtained the video surveillance, others found the vehicle parked at FiveStar on Nashville Road, officials said. However, the vehicle allegedly fled southbound when law enforcement made contact.

The sheriff’s office said it helped Kentucky State Police with the pursuit into Franklin, where a suspect jumped from the vehicle and ran off. Meanwhile, the operator drove off road and then fled on foot.

According to deputies, the driver was quickly captured. Then, a Franklin police officer caught the passenger later on. As for the third suspect — who had been left in the neighborhood — law enforcement located and arrested him the morning of Saturday, July 27.

Over the course of the pursuit, authorities said items were thrown from the vehicle. In addition, a stolen gun was recovered on the side of the road.

Officials identified the driver of the vehicle as 24-year-old Corbett Finley, who was served on a warrant for murder out of Louisville; the passenger found in Franklin as 32-year-old Kenneth Pearson; and the passenger found near the neighborhood as 35-year-old Daniel Vincent.

The sheriff’s office said all three Louisville men are being held in the Warren County Detention Center for “charges ranging from Convicted Felons in Possession of Firearms and Attempted Burglary, to other various traffic and drug related charges.”

However, the detention center said Vincent was only charged with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon and second-degree criminal trespassing, while Pearson was charged with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), and first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot).

As for Finley, the detention center lists his charges as speeding more than 26 mph over the speed limit, first-degree fleeing or evading police (in a motor vehicle), first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, buying/possessing drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), and two warrants from a law enforcement agency outside of Warren County.

No additional details have been released about this ongoing investigation.
