High on Fire have announced a Summer/Fall 2024 North American tour.

The trek kicks off August 31st in Louisville, Kentucky, and wraps up on November 2nd at the Hipnosis Festival in Mexico City. Highlights include a three-night stand in Chicago, as well as dates in major cities such as Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Dallas, Seattle, and more. Negative Approach, Weedeater, and Exhumed will support select portions of the itinerary.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Thursday (August 1st) at 10 a.m. local time using the code STRUM . General ticket sales start Friday (August 2nd) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster . “High on Fire legion, take shelter as the storm continues to rage!” teased the band in a press statement. “We are as hungry as ever and in fine form. See you all very soon!”

News of the tour — which is halved into two separate legs — is another encouraging development for High on Fire, who are coming off the release of one of the year’s best metal albums, Cometh the Storm . The band has only made shorter runs since frontman Matt Pike was forced to cancel a tour in 2019 due to diabetes. In an interview with Heavy Consequence earlier this year, Pike alluded to the band being more active on the road due to his improved health.

“I’m just looking forward to getting back in the grind of things,” he said at the time. “I’m doing great.”
