New Popeyes location now open on West Broadway in Louisville. Here's what to know

Cheers, fried chicken fans. A new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is now open in Louisville.

The location, one of 11 in the Louisville area, recently opened at 2618 West Broadway.

The popular fast-food chain is known for its orange logo, fried chicken sandwiches with pickles, wings, and tenders, all flavored with a Louisiana flare.

The West Broadway spot comes from Ace Brands LLC, a franchise group based in Louisville.

A grand opening, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, music from a local deejay, giveaways, and a photo booth, is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6.
