Asay, Wambeke win Pioneer Day Fun Run races
A pair of local high school track and field competitors captured the two individual titles at the Pioneer Day Fun Run in Cowley Saturday morning. Lovell High School incoming senior Stetson Asay easily won the 5K race in a time of 21:35, while Rocky Mountain High School sophomore-to-be Dalan Wambeke defended his title in the mile, winning the race in a time of 6:37, 30 seconds faster than his time a year ago.

Recent Lovell High School graduate Parker Anderson was selected to compete for the North team in the annual Wyoming Coaches Association North vs. South All-Star boys basketball game held at Casper College on Saturday as the North defeated the South 80-69.
