Mass. high school gets some of athletic equipment returned after ‘misunderstanding’
A Massachusetts high school has begun to get some of its athletic uniforms and equipment back after police said it was stolen during an alumni event. A “significant quantity of sports equipment‚” was stolen from the old Stoneham High School’s Athletic Training Room, located at 149 Franklin St., during an alumni event hosted at the school on Tuesday, according to the Stoneham Police Department.

There was an added attraction during a recent Friday afternoon session of the annual summertime Patriots girls basketball camp at Yorktown High School in Arlington. Wilmington drops opener: U10 squad can’t hold off Billerica
The Wilmington 10-year-old all-star team had a difficult start to the summer campaign. On Sunday, Wilmington lost to Billerica, 17-0. Hudson Post 48 Prep Finish Week Two With 5-2 Record Wins
Last week, Hudson’s American Legion Prep team concluded their June schedule with matchups in Rochester, Salem, and home against Portsmouth. Post 48 began their week by splitting a doubleheader in Rochester with a 7-3 win in game one and a 9-2 loss in game two, then played at Michele Park on Thursday in what was supposed to be a doubleheader but saw game two rained out and lost to Post 63 Gold 6-3.
