Crowdstrike outage causes Bloodworks Northwest to lose almost 250 appointments
EUGENE, Ore. – Bloodworks Northwest said the recent Crowdstrike outage caused them to lose 248 appointments across the Pacific Northwest. This comes right in the middle of what they call the “100 Deadliest Days” between Memorial Day and Labor Day, when car crashes involving teen drivers rise and the number of blood donations dips. Even though Bloodworks Northwest was able to take appointments after the outage, Juan Cotto with Bloodworks Northwest said they are feeling the hit.
