The new in-app feature is a partnership between a weather powerhouse, and a bug repellant powerhouse that brings over 15 billion climate data points together with mosquito data from over 5,000 locations that predicts mosquito behavior and populations.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - The holiday weekend is winding down, but there will be some decent weather to enjoy. That includes Saturday night, with some clouds around and dry conditions for the fireworks displays that are taking place. Clouds will increase toward morning on Sunday. A chance of scattered showers and storms on Sunday from the morning to the late afternoon. Monday and Tuesday will feature intervals of sun, along with chances of showers or storms. Wednesday will have an isolated afternoon storm in spots, but it does appear dry weather will take hold late in the week into the start of next weekend. It will also get warmer, with highs rising into the 80s.

7/6/24 FDL County High Speed Pursuit
The pursuit of a 32-year-old Fond du Lac man who sped through a stop sign on Fond du Lac County Highway B Friday night took a Sheriff’s deputy into Washington County. A maneuver was used on Interstate 41 near Slinger to try and stop the suspect’s vehicle, but he was able to regain control and get back onto the highway. He continued heading south. Washington County Sheriff’s deputies and Germantown Police then successfully deployed tire deflation devices. In trying to avoid them the driver tried to exit the highway on County Line Road and lost control driving into a ditch where the vehicle became disabled. A passenger ran from the vehicle but was taken into custody by a State Trooper. The Fond du Lac man who was driving the vehicle is facing felony charges and the passenger, a convicted felon, was wanted on a nationwide warrant by Probation and Parole. He is also charged with resisting or obstructing. The pursuit lasted approximately 41 miles.
