Why caveman loving Eagles player’s offseason workouts with Jets QB left a lasting impression
PHILADELPHIA – The Los Angeles area does not appear to fit Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith’s personality. Growing up in Savannah, Georgia, fishing and calling himself a “big country boy,” according to the team’s media representative, Smith was a stark contrast when he was in Los Angeles, Malibu, and Irvine, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Steen’s ankle injury in Saturday’s practice has forced head coach Nick Sirianni to provide Becton with additional opportunities in training camp. Trade deadline open thread
Trade deadline day is upon and I, for one, couldn’t be more thrilled. This is the day where people make bad decisions for immediate upgrades, but it’s great for us neutral observers. Keeping it more Phillies-centric, the day does promise hold a bit of intrigue. Though the team...

Tuesday’s Weather: Hot and humid with plenty of sunshine
EAST TEXAS (KLTV/KTRE) - Here is a look at the weather where you live: Happy Tuesday, East Texas! Expect another round of sunshine today along with some occasionally breeze south winds which will help temperatures climb into the middle 90s later this afternoon. Since we have plenty of humidity in the air from recent rains, heat index values(feels like temps) will reach or even exceed 105°, so a Heat Advisory is once again in effect for today. Be sure to take care of yourselves if you have to do any prolonged work outdoors during the heat of the day and always check the back seat of your vehicle for children and pets. Our high-pressure system will continue sit over East Texas and the southern U.S. for the majority of the week, meaning each and every day this week will pretty much see the same forecast: middle to upper 70s in the morning, hot 90s in the afternoon, and lots of sunshine each day. Longer range models are hinting that our “heat dome” will shift further to the west by the weekend which could allow for a weak cold front to stall somewhere close/south of the Red River by Saturday or Sunday. Now that “cold” front wouldn’t bring much of a change to our temps, it would at least give us a slight chance at a little bit of rain by the weekend and early next week. Fingers crossed!
