JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Charges have been filed against a 62-year-old man accused of sending sexually explicit texts to what he believed was a teenage girl.

Dennis James Reisinger, of Loysville, was allegedly sending sexually explicit texts to 814 Pred Hunters as they posed as a 15-year-old girl.

Court documents show the conversation began on June 23 when Reisinger messaged the decoy teen saying “You’re so pretty! I wish I could give you a hug.” The decoy responded on July 1 and their conversation eventually continued via text message.

Reisinger allegedly sent a message to the decoy asking how far she was from Raystown Lake as he was there camping. He also said that he is 62 years old, according to the charges filed. The decoy responded stating they were only 15 and Reisinger responded “Age is just a number to me.” Additionally, Reisinger also said, “I’m not some creeper or anything,” according to the criminal complaint.

As the conversation continued, Reisinger said he wished the decoy was 18 so they could “go out and do things together,” police noted in the complaint. The two continued to chat and eventually, Reisinger mentioned that if the two were together camping, they could cuddle and he’d kiss her if that was okay.

Reisinger eventually said that he would probably dream about them together at night, according to the affidavit. The decoy asked what he wanted to dream about and Resinger allegedly responded “Not good.”

The conversation continued and eventually led to Reisinger saying he was catching feelings for the teen and eventually said “I love you,” charges show.

The next morning, Reisinger began speaking more inappropriately, chatting about how he wanted the teen to pleasure him sexually, according to the criminal complaint. The conversation eventually led to Reisinger asking to meet the teen.

Charges show that Reisinger continued to message that decoy, chatting about having a sexual relationship with them and even calling them his girlfriend.

Plans were created for the two to meet up on Tuesday, July 23, as the decoy told Reisinger her mother was going to be away for a few days. According to the affidavit, they continued to talk leading up to July 23.

On Tuesday, around 6:41 p.m., Reisinger pulled into a parking to where he made arrangements to pick the decoy up. Police noted in the complaint he was taken into custody and agreed to speak with police.

Reisinger allegedly admitted to police that the teen was only 15 and that the conversations were sexual in nature. Charges show that inside Reisinger’s vehicle, officers found condoms and lubricant.

He is now in the Jefferson County Prison with bail set at $100,000.
